Committed in its bid to provide the best learning experiences to its students, the Institute of Arts And Sciences welcomes a new breed of mentors in its roster of competent faculty staff. Having surpassed the rigid screening and interviews, the five new instructors, together with other newly hired instructors, took their Oath of Allegiance to TCA and also underwent an orientation seminar on June 24 and 25, respectively. The following instructors were detailed in the IAS: MR. ROEL DANCEL The only applicant in Filipino, Sir Roel’s enthusiasm qualified him for the post. He hails from Dama De Noche Street, Balayang, Victoria, Tarlac. He was born on July 19, 1989. He took the degree his Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Filipino at the Central Luzon State University. The 21 year old lad is planning to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) come September. Sir Roel utterly believes in the saying, “Life is understood backwards and lived forward.” He’s now teaching the subjects Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Filipino and Masining na Pagpapahayag. MR. VINCENT ERIVE Carpe Diem! Guided by this maxim he has now seized the moment! Having passed the LET and having finished advance studies are Sir Erive’s edge that aided him to be hired as Humanities Instructor in TCA. He has a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) degree at Mater Dei College. He also spent two years of study at the Theology Department of the University of Sto. Tomas. Sir Erive was born on April 4, 1981. He resides at 56 Polong Sur, Malasiqui, Pangasinan. He specializes in Philosphy and Values Education. MR. ORLANDO LOCADING An alumnus of the College, IAS is proud to have that one of its products now joins its teaching force. Sir Locading is a proud TCAian who graduated with the degree Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Sir Locading was born on August 16, 1980. He is stirred by the saying “No one is rich enough to buy back the past. But if one has the courage to do better things today, one would be the richest tomorrow.” He is currently teaching Financial and Management Accounting, Quantitaive Methods and Business Ethics. MS. VANESSA MERADIOS Born on July 26, 1984, this lady exemplifies a warrior of Athena. Being the only female applicant in PE, Ms. Meradios proved that she is equally competent and qualified for the teaching job. She graduated with the degree BS Sports Science at the Bulacan State University. This 26 year old instructor hails from Barangay Pao 3rd, Camiling, Tarlac. Her experience in track events is an edge for her and thus she flags the words “Train hard or go home.” MS. LILIAN QUIJANO Her three years of teaching suited Ms. Quijano to be part of the IAS faculty. She finished Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in English at the Pangasinan State University. She is currently enrolled in Masters Degree for English Teaching. Ma’am Lilian was born on October 20, 1986 and is residing at 312 Mapolopolo, Basista, Pangasinan. She is handling English subjects such as Study and Thinking Skills, Intensive Grammar, and Effective Speech and Oral Communication. She eyes to give her best as she believes in the maxim “Good, better or best, don’t let it rest until your good becomes better and your better becomes best.”
